Lithuania has three international airports: Vilnius Airport, Kaunas Airport and Palanga Airport. Scheduled flight connect Vilnius with all major Western and Eastern European hubs. Budget carriers such as Ryanair also land in Kaunas.

Getting Around Vilnius
On Foot

Although the Old Town is one of the largest in Europe, it can easily be explored on foot.

Public Transportation

The easiest way to get around Vilnius is by using public transportation: buses and the exotic trolleybuses. It’s possible to buy a ticket from a driver every time you enter the vehicle (costs 1 euro/travel), but more efficient way is to buy a public transport card – VILNIEČIO KORTELĖ.

Places where Vilniečio kortelė is sold: Client service centre (Gedimino pr. 9A), „Narvesen“ kiosks, „Lietuvos spauda“ kiosks, „Spauda“ kiosks, Maxima stores, post offices.

Taxi

The most popular one, that you can order online is ETAKSI. More carriers: 1450 – Vilnius veža, 1820 – Smart Taxi, 1446 – Ekipažas, Romerta – 1420,1421, Taxilita – 1818, 1833, 1455, 1444. The fare per kilometer and the boarding fee should not be higher than 1 Eur. Also there are UBER drivers around the city.
